The beach is wide with a parking area, beach chair rentals, and small vendors selling coconut water, and it is a common spot to watch surfers from the sand. Consistent, punchy beach-break waves make it one of the busiest surf breaks in the area.
Take the paved access road down to the beach parking lot directly at the El Cruce intersection, where the roads to Santa Teresa and Mal Pais split.
