A quiet beach town on a narrow spit between the Golfo Dulce and the RÃo Coto mangroves, with calm swimming water on the gulf side and sportfishing and kayaking close by. A small expat and Tico community of beachfront cabinas and sodas, slower-paced than Pavones.
About an hour by car south of Golfito with a ferry or river crossing, or a faster water taxi across the gulf from Golfito. High-clearance vehicle recommended in the rainy season.
