Spirogyra Butterfly Garden

Spirogyra Butterfly Garden is a private nature reserve about a 10 minute walk from downtown San José, raising butterflies through every stage of their life cycle. The garden includes forest trails, a pond, and interpretive signage on local plant and insect species. It operates under permits from Costa Rica's wildlife management authority.
