Playa Panama
Water calm and shallow enough at low tide to feel like a lake.
Playa Panama is a roughly 2-kilometer stretch of dark sand at the southern end of Bahia Culebra, north of Playa Hermosa. Its position inside the bay keeps the water unusually calm and shallow at low tide, making it one of the better family beaches in the zone, with paddleboarding and kayaking common. Development has increased around the beach in recent years, but it remains quieter than Coco or Hermosa.
