Canon de la Vieja Lodge

Liberia

A bungalow-style lodge in Curubande set above a river canyon roughly halfway between Liberia and Rincon de la Vieja National Park, built around an on-site adventure operation with zip lines, rappelling, rock climbing, tubing, and horseback riding. Air-conditioned cabins are spread across dusty, tree-shaded grounds, and the restaurant overlooks the canyon. Reviewers note the pool and activity guides as highlights, with room finishes and front-desk service ranked more variably.
