Blue Flag beach Turtle nesting
The main beach of La Palma, a town on the inner Golfo Dulce road about 24 km north of Puerto Jimenez. The gulf water here is calm with minimal surf, closer to a lake than an open Pacific beach, which makes it popular with local families. It holds a Bandera Azul Ecologica flag with two white stars.
