Serendipity Charters is a family-owned sailing operation running since 2012, chartering a 50-foot Beneteau Oceanis sailing yacht out of Flamingo Marina for private morning, sunset and full day sails along the Guanacaste coast. Charters include an open bar, a prepared meal and snorkeling, with a shared small-group option called Lucky 13 on select days. The company also books overnight sailing trips and surf charters to breaks like Witch's Rock.

Bushwacker Sportfishing runs offshore and inshore charters out of Playa Flamingo aboard a 42-foot Bertram, now under Captain Emilio Villarreal after he purchased the operation from longtime owner Captain Skeet Warren. Trips target blue marlin, black marlin, striped marlin, sailfish, dolphin and tuna offshore, and roosterfish, wahoo and jack crevalle closer to shore, on half day, three-quarter day and full day charters. Villarreal has run sportfishing and flats charters since 1990.
