Blue Flag beach
Playa Conchal sits between two rocky points just south of Brasilito, its sand made almost entirely of crushed shells rather than grains of quartz. The water is usually calm and clear, good for swimming and shore snorkeling near the rocks at the northern end, and the beach backs onto the gated Reserva Conchal resort complex. There is no direct road onto the sand, so most visitors walk the 10 to 15 minutes down the shore from Brasilito.

Getting there
Park in central Brasilito near the soccer field, then walk south along the beach for 10 to 15 minutes; resort guests can access directly through the Westin or W Costa Rica gates.
